Hagerstown Church hosted our first Embrace Grace group in 2025, thanks to our relationship with the Hagerstown Area Pregnancy Clinic. Embrace Grace is a 12 week, gospel-centered program where single pregnant women can meet other moms, receive support, and be encouraged. The ministry was founded in 2012 by Amy Ford, who, herself, experienced an unplanned pregnancy at the age of 19. Hagerstown Church is one among over 2,000 participating churches. We share the belief that the local church should be a place where women can turn to, without fear of judgement.
An Embrace Grace meeting begins with a shared meal, followed by a short video and a topic-lead discussion, and ends with some time to share the ups and downs of our week with one another. After all 12 sessions have been completed, our church throws the participants a big baby shower!
You do not need to be a Christian to join us. All are welcome!

We have been so encouraged by what God is doing through the Embrace Grace ministry and we’re excited to announce that the Lord has opened an opportunity to continue the walk alongside our single mamas.
Embrace Life is a 20 week Christ-centered Bible study support group for any unmarried moms. This program provides community as you walk through motherhood & seek out your dreams for your family. It is a wonderful opportunity to connect with God to discover His plans for your life. You will have leaders to guide you, as well as other women going through a similar journey.
“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him” (Psalm 34:8).
