Joshua McClain
Lead pastor
Josh and his wife Sarah were married in 2004. They have 7 children whom they adore—Riley, Elijah, Joselyn, Caroline, Alainnah, Aria, and August. As a family, they love to spend time together crabbing at the beach or camping in the mountains.
Josh trusted in Jesus for salvation and was baptized during his sophomore year of high school. He has been in pastoral ministry for over 15 years and holds a bachelor’s degree in biblical and theological studies. He hopes to spend the rest of his life encouraging others to delight in Jesus.
When he’s not in the office, you’ll find him spending time with family or checking in with new friends over a cup of coffee.
Brett Flora
Associate Pastor
Brett serves as an associate pastor at Hagerstown Church, with a primary focus on discipleship. He also leads the church in corporate worship on Sundays.
Brett moved from Tennessee to the Hagerstown area in 2018 and worked alongside others to lay the foundation for Hagerstown Church. During that time, he met his wife, Rachel, and they were married in September 2018. They have two children, Georgia, who is six, and Silas, who is nine months old.
When he’s not at the church, Brett enjoys spending time with his family, reading good books, and cooking.
Anthony Cangemi
Lay Elder
Anthony has been a devoted member of the Hagerstown Church community since its founding, bringing his passion to both serving on the worship team and as a Life Group leader. Originally from Frederick, MD, Anthony’s journey took him to Warsaw, Poland, where he served as a missionary. In 2000, he married his wonderful wife Izabela, and together they have two amazing children, Dominic and Julian. Their shared dedication to Christ and his local church has been the foundation of their family life.
After spending a decade in New York City, Anthony returned to his roots and joined the core team at Hagerstown Church in 2018. He has a passion for seeing people find and follow Jesus, and to grow in their faith.
When he’s not involved in church activities, Anthony is passionate about his band, High Street Communion, where he enjoys writing and performing.
