Giving is worship.

Generosity is an essential component in the life of a Christian and the church, and we believe it should be done cheerfully, sacrificially, and thankfully (2 Corinthians 9:7). We believe our generosity reveals a lot about the conditions of our heart. Jesus said in Matthew 6:21, "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Pastoral Staff

The New Testament states that those who labor in full time gospel ministry should be compensated for their work. Your regular financial gifts free our pastors to devote themselves fully to the work of leading, equipping, teaching, and protecting the flock of God.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

In the lead up to Easter, we take up a collective offering in support of church planting and revitalization throughout North America. Without the AAEO, Hagerstown Church would not have been able to be planted in 2019. Our cities need more healthy churches. You can directly make an impact to this end each Easter!

Jeffery McDonough Summer Offering

Jeffery was a beloved member of HC who is now with the Lord. He had a passion for engagement in the city of Hagerstown and a love for organizations that work with the poor and disadvantaged. Each summer, we take up an offering that goes to meet a specific need within one of the ministries serving our city.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

During the Advent season, HC collects an offering to support international missionaries around the world. Lottie Moon had a passion for churches in the west to enlarge their kingdom vision beyond the United States and this offering continues her legacy.
